لئونارد و هینس (2006)، مدل تصمیم­گیری اخلاقی را با ملاحظه­­ی متغیر تعدیل­گر تاثیرات کامپیوتر و آی­تی بسط دادند. مدل حاضر مدلی شبیه به مدل­های تشریح شده­ی مسبوق بوده، لیکن تاثیر مباحث فناوری اطلاعات و آی­تی بر مسایل اخلاقی مورد بررسی و تاکید قرار گرفته است. بر این اساس مدل به شرح زیر ارائه شده است :

مدل حاضر به منظور بررسی رابطه­ی ورود فناوری اطلاعات و تاثیر آن بر مسایل اخلاقی بسط پیدا نموده و از این جهت دارای جنبه­ی نوآوری بوده است.

 در مدل تصمیم­گیری اخلاقی این عوامل موقعیتی با عنوان سناریو لحاظ شده است. نگرش، جنسیت، منشا کنترل، اهمیت درک شده و سایر متغیرهای مذکور در حوزه­ی ویژگی­های فردی قرار می­گیرند و لذا می­توان گفت عوامل سازمانی و زمینه­ای در آن مغفول مانده است.
